Jaffari Endowments: King's pardon source of national pride

Manama, Mar. 13 (BNA): The Jaffari Endowments Directorate has praised His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s issuance of a royal decree on pardoning some convicts for humanitarian reasons and because of the current circumstances. The directorate affirmed that the royal gesture allowing 1486 convicts to benefit from alternative punishment is a great humanitarian initiative, describing it as a milestone in the kingdom’s history that filled the hearts of everyone with joy. In a statement, Chairman of the Jaffari Endowments, Yusif bin Saleh Al-Saleh, said that the kind royal gesture reflects HM the King’s distinguished humanitarian qualities of pardon and forgiveness. Al-Saleh indicated that the royal pardon reflects HM the King’s wise vision on which the Royal Reform Project has been based, adding that it proves HM King Hamad’s unwavering keenness to achieve the interests of his people and open up new development horizons for Bahrain and its citizens. “We all extend deepest thanks and gratitude to HM the King for the kind gesture. In fact, HM the King’s directives are not surprising as HM is the mastermind of his people’s glory and renaissance, through his all-inclusive Reform Projects that has embraced everyone in a unique reform experience,” he said. He prayed to Allah the Almighty to bless HM the King with abundant health and happiness, and Bahrain with ever-lasting security, stability and prosperity.
