Jafferi Endowments hails national efforts to combat COVID-19

Manama, Apr. 30(BNA): Jafferi Endowments Council Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh chaired the board meeting via video conference. The panel hailed national drive to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19), in light of royal directives issued by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, lauding the efforts of the Government, chaired by His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa. The virtual session commended the efforts exerted by Team Bahrain, led by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al-Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to protect citizens and residents’ health and safety. The panel also lauded the Feenah Khair which was launched by His Majesty the King’s Representative for Humanitarian Works and Youth Affairs, National Security Advisor and Royal Humanitarian Foundation (RHF) Board of Trustees’ Chairman His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al-Khalifa. The Jafferi Endowments Council announced the allocation of BD100, 000 to back the efforts undertaken by the State and social segments and support needy and most affects people. The council has also decided to exempt the tenants from paying the rents of endowments properties for three months, taking into consideration their conditions due to COVID-19. Jafferi Endowments Council Chairman Youssef bin Saleh Al-Saleh said that the board had endorsed a plan to ease the pressure on tenants and help them overcome the current crisis.
