Joint work groups between Bahrain, USA, Israel hold meetings

Manama, Oct. 18 (BNA): The joint work groups between the Kingdom of Bahrain, the United States of America and the State of Israel held a number of meetings today to discuss areas of joint cooperation in light of the Declaration in Support of Peace and the Declaration of Abraham Principles, which were signed in the American capital, Washington, last September. The work groups, from the Bahraini side, were chaired by Foreign Ministry Undersecretary for International Affairs Dr. Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Ministry of Transportation and Telecommunication Civil Aviation Affairs Undersecretary Mohammad Thamer Al Ka’abi and Ministry of Industry, Commerce and Tourism Undersecretary for Commercial Affairs Iman Ahmed Al Dossary. The work groups are working on extensive discussions to lay down frameworks for bilateral cooperation between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel in many areas, and to identify the vital and important sectors that would establish a basis for bilateral cooperation to serve the interest of both countries and further boost bilateral relations.
