Judge: Voters' participation reflects Reform Project success

Manama, Dec. 1 (BNA): The Judge of the Northern Governorate’s third constituency, Chancellor Mohammed bin Ahmed Al-Mahza, said the participation of voters from various social segments, including the elderly, people with special needs, youth, men and women, in the second round of the parliamentary and municipal elections 2018 reflects their awareness of the importance of political participation.
The distinguished participations testifies to the Bahraini people’s solidarity and resolve to enhance the political life in the kingdom through choosing the most suitable candidates who could represent them, which will ensure the continuity of the Reform Project towards a brighter future, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
He affirmed that the citizens had exercised their constitutional rights easily and smoothly thanks to the efforts exerted by the High Committee to Oversee the Integrity of the Elections and the Executive Committee of the 2018 Elections.
He added that judges are the guarantors of the elections throughout the whole process.
The polling station of the Northern Governorate’s third constituency, including 6709 eligible voters, is located at the Shaikh Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Khalifa’s Primary Intermediate Boys School.
Hafedh Al-Dossari and Abdulla Al-Dossari are competing for the constituency’s parliamentary seat, while Ahmed Musa and Mohammed Saad are competing for the municipal one.
