Justice minister participates in GCC meeting

Manama, Oct. 21 (BNA): Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa, participated in the 25th Session of GCC Council of Justice Ministers. The ministers condoled the demise of the late Amir of Kuwait His Highness Shaikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. They praised his efforts, great achievements and his continuous support to promote joint Gulf action. They congratulated Kuwait’s Amir His Highness Shaikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah on his accession to the throne. The virtual event discussed the meeting of the committee of directors, heads of the legal and judicial centers and institutes in the GCC countries, as well as developing the agreement to implement rulings and judicial declarations in GCC and Arab countries. They also extracted principles unified laws and orders to combat extremism, racism, hatred and discrimination.
