Justice Minister receives French Religious Affairs Advisor

Manama, June 2 (BNA): Justice, Islamic Affairs, and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa received Advisor for Religious Affairs in the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Jean-Christophe Peaucelle. The meeting took place on the sidelines of his visit to the “Broadening the Tent: Freedom of Religion and Belief” (FORB) conference. The meeting discussed bilateral cooperation and issues of common interest. The minister gave a presentation on religious freedoms in the Kingdom and its initiatives in interfaith and intercultural dialogue that stem from the belief in the importance of promoting freedom of religions and beliefs.
