Justice Minister stresses equality between men, women

Manama, Oct. 20 (BNA): Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister Shaikh Khalid bin Ali Al Khalifa told Bahrain News Agency (BNA) that the legal and judicial role of Bahraini women is active and a concrete reality. This came during attending the discussion meeting organized today by the Judicial and Legal Studies Institute of the Justice Ministry, in cooperation with the Supreme Council for Women, in preparation for the celebrations of the Bahraini Women's Day on December the 1st in the of legal and Judicial fields. The minister said the equality between men and women is essential, as well as achieving balanced relationships between them in terms of the size of responsibilities, life and professional duties in accordance to the principle of equal opportunities.
