Katara Launches Initiative to Help Families in Need in Ramadan

Doha, March 21 (QNA) - The Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) launched today the "Saftan Katara" initiative, which will continue throughout the holy month of Ramadan, in cooperation with Qatar Charity and the Qatari Farmers Forum. The initiative comes within the framework of Katara's "We Help and We assist" campaign which aims to distribute food baskets to meet the needs of the humble families in the holy month, as well as being among the humanitarian and charitable initiatives of the Cultural Village Foundation. The campaign also comes within the framework of the social responsibility programs pursued by Katara and is based on its vital role in serving charitable and humanitarian work in society and in reviving the values of social solidarity embodied in the month of Ramadan. On the other hand, Katara announced the opening of the door for participation in the "We Help and We assist" campaign for institutions and individuals by calling (66877077). It indicated that the campaign will take all COVID-19 precautionary measures to prevent the virus spread. The Katara campaign "We Help and We Assist" launched the "Saftan Katara" initiative during the month of Ramadan last year and it achieved great success. The campaign came as part of a series of charitable and community initiatives and campaigns that Katara has launched previously on many occasions, whether inside or outside Qatar. (QNA)
