Kazakhstan – Norway: development of inter-Parliamentary cooperation
Astana, October 15, 2009 (Khabar) - In the Kazakhstani Parliament as well as in Norwegian Storting the deputy group of friendship will be created.
It was announced by Mazhilis chairman Ural Muhamedzhanov during the meeting with Norway Ambassador Dag Halvorsen. Mister Halvorsen is the first Norway Ambassador to RK who permanently lives in Kazakhstan and the Speaker expressed confidence that his diplomatic mission will help to further strengthening of relations including inter-Parliamentary. The diplomat thinks that Kazakhstan is a country with huge opportunities and good experience in providing of regional safety. Dag Halvosren noted that Norway pins hopes to the presidency of Kazakhstan in OSCE, particularly in OSCE influence intensification on Afghanistan’s processes.
