Kazakhstan and Russia cooperation

Astana, October 29, 2009 (Khabar) - Prime Minister of RK Karim Massimov has met with Igor Sechin, deputy chairman of Russian Federation’s government.
The sides have discussed the issues of further development of trade-economical cooperation and integration processes between countries. Cooperation in energy and customs was also discussed during negotiations of Igor Sechin with deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Umirzak Shukeyev. Both sides have noted positive results of work on several inter-governmental agreements on railroad transporting, oil and gas transporting and also development of construction of third energy block at Ekibastuz hydroelectric power station. Representative of two countries’ governments agreed to prepare documents on these two projects to be signed in November, to continue work on expert level and hold another meeting in the beginning of December’s second decade.
