Kazakhstani tourist companies develop tourism in Northern Mariana Islands
Astana, November 06, 2009, Khabar – The government of Northern Mariana Islands intends actively develop relations with Kazakhstan in sphere of tourism. Issue of prolonging of visa-free regime for the citizens of our country is discussed now. Those people, who visited these tropical islands, fully appreciated comfortable, democratic prices and friendliness of local people, Chamorro. The Northern Mariana Islands are called as islands of treasure, exotics and quiet. Each of islands, Saipan, Tinian and Rota has its own pearl. For example, Saipan is included into Guinness Book due to most stable temperature in the world. It is +27 all the year round. White sand beaches, quiet and coral reefs embrace most part of Saipan island, capital of Commonwealth of Northern Mariana Islands. Economy is mainly based on tourism. Over 450 000 tourists visit these unique islands with rich history and amazing fauna. Korean, Japanese and Russian tourists like to hold their vacations here. Kazakhstani tourist companies visited these islands and studied this new route.

In 2006, the Marianas archipelago, and Mariana Trench, depth of which amounts to 11 thousand 776 meters were declared a national marine park. Treasure hunters attracted by the mystery of the sea here. In 1638 the Spanish galleon loaded with gold wrecked in the Saipan Strait. And only a small portion of treasure was found in an underwater expedition. Most of the treasure still remains at the bottom of the strait. Is this not a reason to go to Saipan?
