Khalid bin Hamad congratulates HM King

Manama, June 16 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council of Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Olympic Committee congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa over Bahrain’s achievement of the top IMMAF-WMMAA ranking. This top international ranking came after Bahrain national MMA team won the first place in Africa Open MMA Championship for Amateurs held in Johannesburg on May 22-25. Bahrain also won the second place in Asia Open MMA Championship for Amateurs held in Bangkok on May 2-4. HH Shaikh Khalid praised the Bahraini MMA honorable sports achievements thanks to the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and his unlimited support of the young and sports sector, to develop Bahrain’s MMA sports, boost our global presence and participation, and assume such top ranking among the world’s national teams. This achievement confirms that we are on the right track to achieve our planned goals to become the pioneers of this sport. His Highness vowed to achieve more successes and accomplishments for the Bahraini sports.
