Khalid bin Hamad congratulates WRO winners

Manama, Apr. 20 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Athletics Association, congratulated the winners of the seventh edition of the World Robot Olympiad "WRO" who qualified to participate in the finals of the World Robotics Olympiad to be held in Costa Rica this year.
His Highness praised this event, which was characterized by the participation of students from public and private schools and who competed for the best inventions, which reflected their academic levels, achieving development and progress for the educational movement in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
His Highness praised the efforts of the AMA School in cooperation with the Ministry of Education and the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority to organize this unique scientific event, which has been an outstanding success and echoed greatness at an international level. His Highness stressed that holding the World Robotics Olympiads for the seventh year in a row, reflects the great success of this event that has marked its presence firmly within the educational events, which goes in line with directives of the wise leadership to push students from different levels of education towards #innovation_educational projects to raise the level of education and contribute towards developing the educational movement in the Kingdom.
His Highness Shaikh Khalid Bin Hamad Al Khalifa said that this event is an implementation of the leadership's vision and directives to accelerate the progress of education in Bahrain, which is a step taken by His Highness as one of the educational initiatives that contribute to presenting the Bahraini youth the opportunity to unleash their energies, intellectual, scientific and technological contributions, bringing out youth capable of creativity and innovation, which achieves the highest rates of success in the education sector.
His Highness pointed out that efforts will continue to support the youth in the scientific field to achieve the aspirations and goals to develop education to keep up with the most modern and developed world countries, reflecting on the development of Bahrain.
His Highness said: "We express our pride and gratitude to the students of government and private schools who participated in the seventh World Robot Olympiad, which has given us a number of talented inventors from different educational stages.
We are proud of their projects which reflect their high level of education and the development of the educational movement in Bahrain. We hope to see these young people in the near future, excelling at their work, and to follow them as they provide science and technology with more inventions and innovations that humanity benefits from."
