Khalid bin Hamad Graduation Projects forum inaugurated

Manama, Dec. 20 (BNA): On behalf of First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports and President of Bahrain Athletics Association Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, President of the University of Bahrain (UoB) Dr. Riyadh Yussef Hamza inaugurated today the Khalid bin Hamad Graduation Projects forum held under the theme "Let's Innovate". The festival, held at the UoB premises in Sakhir, is sponsored by the United Nations Industrial Development Organisation (UNIDO), the Economic Development Board, Bahrain International Circuit, Mercedes, Toyota, Nissan, Kia Motors, Microsoft, Jawad Group, Megamart, Flower and Adhari Park. The UoB President inaugurated the forum's exhibition and toured it. He praised the outstanding organisation of the forum, hailing the initiative of Shaikh Khalid in holding it in support of the Bahraini youth. He added that the theme of the forum reflects Shaikh Khalid's keenness to encourage the Bahraini youth to conduct scientific researches and tap on their creativity to serve Bahrain. He noted that the national function, which brings together gifted students from Bahraini universities, will have a great impact on the kingdom's future projects. He also paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for spearheading Bahrain's growth and prosperity.
