Khalid bin Hamad meets business sport people

Mumbai, Apr. 22 (BNA): His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, First Deputy President of the Supreme Council for Youth, Honourary President of the Bahrain Martial Arts Federation (BMMAF), founder of Khalid Bin Hamad Mixed Martial Arts (KHK MMA), met with economic, sports and artistic figures and a number of media and press personalities in the Taj Mahal Hotel in Mumbai, India. On his arrival, His Highness was received by Mr. Issa Al Thawadi, Consul General of the Kingdom of Bahrain in the City of Mumbai, Mr. Farhat Jamal, Vice President of Taj Mahal Group, Mr. Talgender Singh, General Manager of the Taj Mahal Group and Ms. Dharmi Majdani, Regional Director of Indian Economic Development Board. His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, May God Protect him and the wishes of His Majesty to India and its leadership and people for their progress and prosperity. His Highness said that Bahrain’s relations with India are an important and strategic gain that achieves the goals of the relationship, which was built on a solid basis for many centuries and is based on respect, cooperation and joint coordination. His Highness praised the steps taken by the leadership of the two countries in strengthening ties through continuous visits, which achieved bilateral relations that reflects on the development and prosperity of the two countries, especially at an economic, investment and trade levels. His Highness noted the great role of the Indian community in contributing to the growth and development process of Bahrain. His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, showcased to attendees the reform steps taken by the Kingdom of Bahrain, in the prosperous era of the His Majesty the King of Bahrain, May God Protect him. His Highness said that the wise leadership was able to place plans and programs according the national strategy set by the reform project of His Majesty the King, which includes development goals that contributed to the progress and prosperity of the Kingdom in all fields. His Highness also spoke during the meeting about the outstanding efforts exerted by His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, representative of His Majesty the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, which implements the directives of the Wise Leadership to continue the vital development to this sector, which contributed to the Kingdom accomplishing many achievement at various international participations and gatherings. HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa said: "We presented the BRAVE Combat Federation Championship project, and succeeded in making project see the light and become a reality, thanks to the support of the wise leadership and His Highness Shaikh Nasser Bin Hamad Al Khalifa. This support has enabled the championship to place its mark successfully since its launch in the Kingdom of Bahrain last September, and it achieved the goals that we set to attract MMA stars and professionals from around the world. Today we are the in India, to follow up and watch the march of fifth edition championship and the third held around the world. We look forward to achieving the main goal of turning BRAVE into the number one championship at the level of this sport.
