King’s visit to Russia hailed

Moscow, Sep. 28 (BNA): The landmark visit of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa to Russia early this month has won the accolade. A top Russian official hailed the outcome of the visit during which HM the King held talks with President Putin. Russian President’s Representative to the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister and Special Presidential Envoy for the Middle East and North Africa Mikhail Bogdanov expressed the stance as he met Bahraini Ambassador to Moscow Ahmed Abdulrahman Al-Saati. The two sides discussed a follow-up of the joint agreements which were sealed between the two sides, focusing particularly on the deals related to oil and gas, the volume of trade exchanges and the technical and military cooperation. They discussed preparations to hold “Russian Days in Bahrain” on November 24, including a business forum, economic and trade meetings, political, cultural and artistic forums and functions. The meeting focused on Syrian developments and international efforts to reach a political settlement that puts an end to the war and presents the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Syria and the safety of its people.
