King Abdulla Medical City milestone discussed

Manama, Feb.10 (BNA): Education Minister Dr. Majid bin Ali Al-Nuaimi received Arabian Gulf University (AGU) President Dr. Khalid bin Abdulrahman Al-Ohali and discussed preparations to lay the foundation stone of the King Abdulla Medical City in Bahrain. Dr. Al-Nuaimi hailed the academic milestone that epitomizes historic fraternal relations, stressing the importance of the value added project to the higher medical education in Bahrain and neighbouring countries. Dr. Al-Ohali said that the planned city will consolidate AGU facilities as it will include a 288-bed university hospital, in addition to research centres, and residential buildings for the administrative and academic staff and students.
