King of Bahrain confers medals on voting senior citizens

Manama, (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received at the Isa Cultural Center a number of senior citizens who cast their votes in the 2018 parliamentary and municipal elections to pay respect to HM the King. HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, were present. HM the King expressed appreciation of their national sense and commitment to participate in the national duty, and of giving a fine example of loyalty to the homeland and leadership. HM the King lauded their contributions to the comprehensive national development established by fathers and grandfathers in various fields, stressing the significance of moving forward with the progress and prosperity process thanks to the efforts of good citizens. HM the King presented them with the Medal of Bahrain in appreciation of their participation in the 2018 elections, wishing them good health and well-being. They expressed gratitude for the royal reception and appreciation, wishing HM the King abundant health and happiness and the Kingdom of Bahrain further prosperity and security under the royal leadership. The honoured senior citizens are Thajiba Ibrahim Shabaan, Saeeda Mubarak Saud , Abdullah Mohammed Jamal, Abdullah Ibrahim Nawar, Ahmed Mohammed Jasim and Sabeeka Jasim Mohammed.
