King congratulated by Crown Prince on successful elections

Manama, Nov. 24 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa received a cable of congratulations from HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the success of the 2018 parliamentary and municipal elections. HRH the Crown Prince took pride in the success of the election process, which highlighted the people’s answer to the call of duty for a prosperous future under the royal leadership. HRH the Crown Prince said the electoral process has witnessed a high turnout in response to the royal calls to practice their constitutional rights in support of the democratic approach led by HM the King to contribute to bringing more achievements and gains. He commended the efforts of the supervisory bodies concerned to provide suitable atmosphere for the electoral process that enjoyed integrity and transparency. HRH the Crown Prince prayed to Almighty God to bless HM the King with good health and happiness, wishing the upcoming four-year parliamentary term success to bring further progress and prosperity.
