King congratulated by Crown Prince on summit success

Manama, Dec. 7 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa has received a cable of congratulations from His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, on the success of the 37th GCC Summit, which was hosted by the kingdom. HRH the Crown Prince extended sincerest congratulations to HM the King on the success of the 37th GCC Summit. HRH Crown Prince stressed that HM the King's presidency over the summit has played a major role in its success in reaching results that will benefit the GCC countries and their peoples amid the current regional and global challenges. The Crown Prince lauded the keynote speech delivered by HM the King during the opening session of the 37th GCC Summit, praising HM King Hamad's call for the need to carry on efforts aimed at safeguarding regional and global security while pushing development and modernisation plans forward. HRH the Crown Prince wished HM the King every success in enhancing joint GCC action, alongside other GCC leaders. He also wished HM the King abundant good health, happiness and long life.
