King congratulated on Police Day

Manama, Dec. 13 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, received a cable of congratulations from Interior Minister Lieutenant-General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al-Khalifa marking Bahrain's Police Day on December 14. Shaikh Rashid paid tribute to HM the King for declaring December 14 as a day dedicated to the police in recognition of their devotion and sacrifices in serving the nation. He hailed the royal support to the police, hailing HM the King's far-sighted vision which considers security as the cornerstone of development, progress and prosperity. The minister paid tribute to the Bahrain's police for their commitment to the values of loyalty, belonging and discipline, hailing their combat readiness and competence as shown in the joint security drill (Arab Gulf 1). He paid homage to the policemen who sacrificed their lives for the sake of the nation, pledging unwavering allegiance to the wise leadership and utmost dedication in defending Bahrain's security and stability.
