King congratulated by Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad

Manama, Sep. 2 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa today received a cable of congratulations from Representative to HM the King for Charity Works and Youth Affairs, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, marking Bahrain’s historic achievements in the 18th Asian Games recently concluded in Jakarta. HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad extended congratulations to HM the King on Bahrain’s remarkable success in winning a total of 26 gold, silver and bronze medals, which is the most significant achievement made by a Bahraini mission in the Asian games. He said the historic achievement reflects the great efforts to upgrade the national sport movement to contest at international level thanks to the royal support, wishing HM the King good health and happiness.
