King hails Bahraini-Tunisian cooperation

Manama, Jan. 23 (BNA): His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa hailed deep-rooted historic relations binding the Kingdom of Bahrain and Tunisia. Receiving Tunisian Interior Minister Hédi Majdoub at Al-Safriya Palace, he hailed steadily-growing bilateral relations binding the two countries and peoples in all fields, stressing particularly security cooperation and coordination to achieve mutual interests. The minister conveyed to HM the King greetings and appreciation from Tunisian President Beji Caid Essebsi, who wished Bahrain and its people further progress and prosperity. HM the King extended greetings and good wishes to the Tunisian president and his people, wishing them further progress and prosperity. The King stressed the importance of such visits in bolstering cooperation and benefiting from expertise and practices in all fields. He hailed Tunisian president's successful visit last January, commending the fruitful results it yielded and the signing of agreements and memoranda of understanding. HM the King highlighted regional security challenges which require further coordination and cooperation to confront fast developments and changes. He wished Tunisia progress, security and stability.
