King Hamad Faith in Leadership fellowship program developed

Manama, June 8 (BNA): King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence Secretary General Sumaya Hussain Al Meer, announced the expansion of King Hamad Faith in Leadership fellowship program, to increase the number of its beneficiaries. The expansion will develop the content of the program and qualify more trainers in coordination with Oxford and Cambridge universities and the British Academy for Training. Al Meer said that the decision came in response to the increasing number of participants who wish to adopt the vision of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa in spreading the values of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence and reinforce Bahrain’s values of peace, cultural harmony and respect for all peoples and religions, and to preserve the approach of human coexistence as a civilized behavior and inherent practice among the whole community. She noted that the center has opened wider horizons of cooperation with various youth centers and cultural and sports clubs. The secretary general pointed out that the beneficiaries of the program are a large base of university students and members of sports clubs and youth centers, in order to deliver their experiences to the stage of leadership in society. Al Meer stressed that King Hamad Global Center for Peaceful Coexistence aims to promote among a new generation of young leaders the values of openness, pluralism, cultural harmony and diversity which mark the Bahraini society and reflect HM’s vision about tolerance peace and religious and human coexistence.
