King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, Brazil sign MoU

Manama, Nov. 17 (BNA): Board of Trustees Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa stressed the importance of strengthening cooperation between Bahrain and Brazil on all levels to meet common goals. After speaking on the cooperation, the chairman and Foreign Affairs Minister of Brazil Carlos Alberto França signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence and the Ministry of Women, Family and Human Rights (MMFDH). The MoU aims to enhance cooperation by strengthening friendship between them, through events organized between the two sides in areas of common interest. The Brazilian minister pointed out to the mutual qualities in both countries in spreading a culture of tolerance between religions. The chairman said that the MoU comes in line with the principles of Bahrain Declaration in South America from Brazil, which seeks to promote peace among nations and peoples of different religions and beliefs, and to create world in which all coexist without hatred, injustice or discrimination.
