King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence, Salvation Army discuss cooperation

Manama, Sept. 7 (BNA): Board of Trustees Chairman of the King Hamad Global Centre for Peaceful Coexistence Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Khalifa Al Khalifa received Middle East Region Salvation Army Regional Commander Doug Newman. The two sides discussed cooperation in finding enlightening projects that promote religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence. Dr. Shaikh Khalid reviewed the history of religious tolerance and peaceful coexistence in the Kingdom and highlighted the efforts of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa to maintain tolerance ​​and coexistence in Bahrain. The commander expressed the Salvation Army's desire to make Bahrain the headquarter of its regional activities. He praised Bahrain's efforts, led by His Majesty the King, in promoting peace in the region through the support of the centre.
