King receives royal family members on NAC anniversary

Manama, Feb. 14 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, in the presence of HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, today at Sakhir Palace, received senior royal family members marking the 16th anniversary of the National Action Charter. The attendees congratulated HM the King and commended the unmissable achievements and development witnessed by the Kingdom of Bahrain which have attracted the interest of regional, Arab and international countries. They hailed HM the King's remarkable efforts in boosting relations with Arab and friendly countries, bolstering Bahrain's standing in regional and international forums and its leading role at Arab and international level. They prayed Almighty God to bless HM the King with abundant health and happiness to continue leading the progress process during his prosperous ear. HM the King exchanged congratulations with the attendees on the national occasion and appreciated their sincere patriotic feelings. HM the King pointed out the Bahraini people's patriotic stances and consensus on the national action fundamentals. He said the NAC is a turning point in the history of Bahrain which motivates new generations to follow in grandfathers' footsteps, noting the grandfather's sacrifices in the interest of the homeland and protecting its sovereignty. HM the King welcomed the patriotic role of the three powers in pushing forward with the national reform march that pushed Bahrain's standing to higher levels and grabbed the world's acknowledgment. HM the King took pride in the noble national stances of Bahraini people along the history and their contributions that are a leading light for future generations to continue the march of giving and construction. HM the King paid tribute to the efforts of National Guard, Interior Ministry and National Security Agency's forces in maintaining the homeland's security and stability and safety of citizens and residents.
