King, Saudi Crown Prince hold talk session

Manama, Nov. 25 (BNA): HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince, Deputy Prime Minister and Defence Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, today held a talk session. HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, were present. The solid longstanding fraternal relations were reviewed, in addition to cooperation and coordination on various topics in the interest of joint interests. HM the King stressed that the robust and growing relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia are based on strong pillars of cooperation supported by consensus and joint determination to further broaden them in various fields. HM the King highlighted that Bahrain’s standing by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has always been a constant choice stems from the unity of common destiny that is necessary to sustain the security and stability of the Gulf countries and prosperity of their people, which also strengthens standing against various challenges. HM the King reiterated Bahrain's categorical rejection of targeting Saudi Arabia, affirming that Saudi Arabia is a state of security, safety, justice and rights that are safeguarded and will always remain strong and able to deter all attempts to undermine its security and stability and those systematic campaigns to interfere in its internal affairs. He said it would continue its leading role to maintain regional and international peace and security under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and HRH the Crown Prince. HM the king expressed appreciation of the Saudi supportive stances toward the Kingdom of Bahrain, which accentuates the historical fraternal relations between the two kingdoms. He also paid tribute to the Saudi keenness to underpin Bahrain’s security, stability, development and prosperity. HM the King commended the Saudi commitment to take on its strategic and humanitarian role in promoting Gulf, Arab and Islamic joint action, in addition to its contribution to the prosperity of all humankind. He said that solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a duty that all should do, it is solidarity with the right and a desire to preserve unity and safety of Gulf homelands and societies. HM the King highly appreciated the Saudi noble humanitarian role in Yemen, pointing out the Saudi and UAE Supply initiative in response to the food crisis in Yemen, and to provide support to alleviate the suffering of the Yemeni people. HM the King decorated HRH Saudi Crown Prince with the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Medal of Excellence of first class in appreciation of his effort to boost the Bahraini-Saudi cooperation. HRH Saudi Crown Prince gratitude to HM the King for conferring on him the Shaikh Isa bin Salman Al Khalifa Medal of Excellence, wishing Bahrain and its people more progress and prosperity under the royal leadership, and the Bahraini-Saudi relations further development. HM the King host a dinner banquet in honour of HRH Saudi Crown Prince and the accompanying delegation.
