King's economic advisor receives UNIDO official

Manama, Sep. 28 (BNA): Advisor of HM the King for Economic affairs, Dr. Hassan bin Abdullah Fakhro, today received Head of United Nations Industrial Development Organization - Investment and Technology Promotion Office (UNIDO-ITPO), Dr. Hashem Hussain. They discussed various topics and issues pertaining to trade and economic development. Dr. Hassan Fakhro praised UNIDO's huge role in supporting the national economy. He also praised the UNIDO's efforts and role in producing large numbers of young entrepreneurs and development of small- and medium enterprises (SMEs) all over the world through adopting Bahrain Model to strengthen this sector and boost its instrumental role in development particularly in developing countries. Dr. Hashem Hussain updated the King's economic advisor about the UNIDO's 50th anniversary to be celebrated in Austria in November.
