Korean Association in Thailand holds 1st Int'l Sport Festival

BANGKOK, November 23 (TNA) - The Korean Association in Thailand on Saturday organized the Han Ma Eum International Sport Festival, the first of its kind, at Bangkok's Chulalongkorn University, joining Thailand's celebration of His Majesty King Bhumibol Adulyadej's birthday on December 5. The event was also aimed to strengthen relations between Thai and South Korean people through their sports competitions, namely football, badminton, table tennis, along with dances and knowledge contests on South Korea. Mini concerts of both Thai and Korean artists, as well as a Korean cooking class session and demonstrations of Korean Martial Arts were also included in the one-day function, in which visitors were welcome until 6pm.
