Kuwait's ambassador pays rich homage to HH Shaikh Sabah

Manama, Sept. 30 (BNA): The Arab and Islamic nations and the international community have lost one of their most prominent and wisest leaders, HH the Amir Shaikh Sabah Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, Kuwait's Ambassador to Bahrain said. HH Shaikh Sabah had worked tirelessly to serve the noble goals he had undertaken and for his country to be a center for humanitarian work, which led the United Nations to honor him with the title of "Humanitarian Leader" in recognition of his achievements, Shaikh Thamer Jaber Al Ahmad Al Sabah said. He added that history Shaikh Sabah's tremendous accomplishments and immortal feats would be recorded in history as a prestigious diplomatic school based on peace, dialogue, high morals and readiness to assist those in need. He was an outstanding example of great leadership and good governance, he said. The ambassador wished HH Shaikh Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Jaber Al Sabah, the new Amir, success in keeping up the process of achievements and dedications. Shaikh Thamer extended his thanks gratitude to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa for his fraternal support, the royal family and the people of Bahrain for the sincere feelings they expressed. Such feelings and attitudes are not alien to the people of Bahrain as Kuwait and Bahrain are two entities beating with the same heart, he added.
