Kuwait's efforts to promote role of Arab Scout Parliamentary Union praised

Kuwait, Oct. 4 (BNA): A parliamentary delegation, headed by Shura Council member Redha Munferidi and comprising in its membership MPs Ahmed Al Amer and Zainab Abdul Amir, took part in a celebration organised by the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union marking the uncontested nomination of Kuwaiti National Assembly Speaker, Marzouq Ali Al Ghanim, as the union’s honorary President. The appointment took place during the 13th meeting of the union’s General Assembly held in September, in Egypt. The parliamentary delegation expressed sincere congratulations to Marzouq Ali Al Ghanim, stressing support of the legislature in Bahrain to the efforts and activities of the Arab Scout Parliamentary Union. They also commended the efforts of Kuwait in promoting the union’s role through a wide range of programmes hosted by the Arab countries.
