Kyrgyz and Uzbek FMs discuss preparation of state visit of Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Jan. 23, 2023. / Kabar /. Head of the Foreign Ministry of Kyrgyzstan Jeenbek Kulubaev met with Acting Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan Bakhtiyor Saidov. According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the meeting took place today in Tashkent on the sidelines of the 26th meeting of the Council of Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO Council of Foreign Ministers). Kulubaev congratulated Saidov on his appointment to the position of Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The parties discussed the preparation of the upcoming state visit of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Mirziyoyev to Kyrgyzstan. The heads of the foreign affairs agencies touched upon topical issues of bilateral cooperation and interaction within the framework of multilateral formats, and also exchanged views on work plans for the current year.
