Labor Minister meets Jordanian Premier

Amman, Oct. 25 (BNA): Labor and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammad Ali Humaidan met with the Jordanian Prime Minister Dr. Bisher Al-Khasawneh. The minister conveyed the greetings of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister to the Jordanian Premier, and his keenness on strengthening and developing brotherly relations in various levels. The meeting reviewed the most prominent challenges facing the Arab world in the fight against poverty and the development of services provided to vulnerable groups in society including the elderly, people with disabilities and low-income families. They discussed the Council of Arab Ministers of Social Affairs (CAMSA)’s role in strengthening the joint Arab action system through the Arab League, and its efforts in studying and researching all the difficulties and challenges faced by the Arab countries and ways to avoid them. The meeting also dealt with the efforts and initiatives undertaken by the Arab countries to confront the repercussions of COVID-19 pandemic, whether on the health or economic levels.
