Labor Minister receives British ambassador

Manama, Nov. 3 (BNA): Labor and Social Development Minister Jamil bin Muhammad Ali Humaidan, received British Ambassador to Bahrain, Roderick Drummond. The minister praised the historical relations between the two kingdoms, and the joint cooperation in all fields. He noted the British expertise and aspects of existing cooperation in the labor and social fields. The ambassador affirmed his country's keenness to strengthen relations , highlighting Bahrain’s development in various fields, especially in the field of organizing the labor market, protecting workers' rights, combating trafficking in persons in accordance with international standards, and consolidating the principles of tolerance and coexistence.
