Labour Minister receives Azerbaijani delegation

Manama, Oct. 13 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister and Board Chairman of the Labour Market Regulatory Auhtority (LMRA) Jamil bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan met with a labour delegation from Azerbaijan led by President of the health sector’s Trade Unions Zaiduddine Nuruddine Oglo. The meeting was attended by Executive Council Chairman of the Bahrain Free Labour Unions Federation (Al Hurr) Yacoob Yusef Mohammed and members. The Labour and Social Development Minister welcomed the delegation, stressing the importance of exchanging visits and experiences between the labour organisations in both countries. He briefed them on trade unionism in Bahrain, its evolution and the labour achievements brought about under the reform project of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa. Oglo praised trade unionism in Bahrain and its evolution at all levels to develop human resources, secure a stimulating work environment and provide the legal framework to protect the workers’ rights.
