Labour Minister stresses planned projects

Manama, Oct.16 (BNA): Labour and Social Development Minister Jameel bin Mohammed Ali Humaidan received Council of Representatives member Mp. Ahmed Mohammed Al-Amer discussed planned projects and initiatives, as well as efforts to maintain the stability of the national workforce in the private sector. Humaidan commended the role of the Council of Representatives in consolidating cooperation between the executive and legislative branches of government to tackle labour and social issues and pass related legislations. He said that the ministry gives priority to maintaining the professional stability of Bahraini citizens who are working in the private sector and supporting hardest-hit employers due to current conditions. Al-Amer also lauded the ministry’s efforts to implement the Government policies, deliver the best of labour and social care services and improve citizens’ decent living conditions.
