Labour Ministry, BDA Training Centre organise seminar

Manama, Nov. 4 (BNA): Ministry of Labour and Social Development, in conjunction with BDA Training Center, organised a seminar titled "Quality and Patient Safety". The event was attended by 31 doctors, nurses, technicians, graduates and job seekers.
The keynote presentation was given by Professor Ferry Jeffrey, from the UK, who shared his thoughts with Dr. Ahmed Shahda , Chairman of BDA center, in the training room at the ministry.
Training and Manpower Development Director, Dr. Essam Alalawi, described the seminar as one of the initiatives aimed at stimulating job seekers, enhancing their skills and activating their theoretical science. He stressed the importance of the seminar in opening the prospects of the labour market in front of them through the identification of new professions in the specialties of the health sector.
For his part, Dr. Shahda praised the seminar’s outcomes and the interaction of the audience, praising the Ministry’s partnership in its implementation. He also thanked Dr. Essam Alalawi, who distributed the certificates on the participants.
Moreover, Dr. Shahda revealed that this seminar is one of a package of lectures and programmes planned for job seekers in the health sector, which BDA will provide in cooperation with the Ministry of Labour. He stressed the importance of training Bahraini health personnel in order to enhance their skills and knowledge and to facilitate their access to quality employment opportunities provided by the health sector in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
