Lao president receives Bahraini ambassador’s credentials

Vientiane, Feb. 13(BNA): President of Lao People's Democratic Republic, Bounnhang Vorachith, received the credentials of Ambassador Ahmed Abdulla Al-Hajeri as the Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Lao People's Democratic Republic. During the meeting, Ambassador Ahmed Abdulla Al Hajeri conveyed the greetings of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, to President Bounnhang Vorachith, and their wishes for him of abundant health and for the Laos people further progress and prosperity. For his part, President Bounnhang Vorachith entrusted Ambassador Ahmed Al-Hajeri with conveying his greetings to His Majesty King, His Royal Highness the Prime Minister, and His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, wishing the Ambassador success. Also during the meeting, the two sides expressed their pride in the bilateral relations between the two countries, stressing the need to strengthen cooperation in various fields, especially in the economic and cultural fields.
