Latvian president receives ambassador’s credentials

Riga, Apr. 16(BNA): The President of the Republic of Latvia, Raimonds Vējonis, received the credentials of Dr. Mohammed Abdul Ghaffar Abdullah, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Bahrain to the Republic of Latvia, Residing in Paris. The Ambassador conveyed greetings and good wishes from His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier to President Vējonis. The Ambassador affirmed the keenness of the Kingdom of Bahrain to further develop its bilateral relations and cooperation with the Republic of Latvia in various fields. For his part, the President of the Republic of Latvia congratulated the Ambassador on his appointment, asserting his support to the Ambassador during his diplomatic tenure.
