Leadership congratulated by Muharraq inhabitants

Manama, Feb. 15 (BNA): Chairman of Muharraq Municipal Council Mohammed Abdullah Al Senan, members of the city council and the inhabitants congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, and the loyal Bahraini people on the 16th anniversary of the National Action Charter endorsed by an overwhelming majority of 98.4% of the people in a nationwide plebiscite in 2001. They hailed the wise vision of His Majesty the King of paving the way for the popular referendum and His Majesty's historic ratification of the National Action Charter which culminated in the kingdom's comprehensive democratic reforms, the advancement of the municipal services, health, educational, constitutional amendments, judicial, human rights and liberties, socio-economic progress and political reforms, the advancement of Bahraini women and their inclusion in the nation's building, modernization and development in all sectors that enabled the Kingdom's winning international and Arab awards as one of the leading nations in many fields, wishing the Kingdom's leadership, government and people perpetual boom and prosperity.
