Leadership congratulated on National Action Charter anniversary

Manama, Feb. 13 (BNA): Works, Municipalities, Urban Planning Minister Essam bin Abdullah Khalaf congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister, the loyal Bahraini people on the occasion of the 16th anniversary of the National Action Charter endorsed by an overwhelming majority of 98.4% of the Bahraini people in a historic plebiscite in February 2001. The minister hailed the wise Leaderships' directives and support to the municipalities, urbanisation, agricultural and services as well as the advanced relevant legislations in the kingdom, citing the efforts of municipal councils and the relevant governmental directives, and wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain's leadership, government and people lasting success and prosperity. He expressed pride in the Kingdom's comprehensive development in the health, educational, constitutional, judicial, political freedoms, socio-economic reforms, the empowering of Bahraini women and their inclusion in the nation's building, modernization and development in all sectors that enabled the Kingdom's winning international and Arab awards as one of the leading nations in many fields, wishing the Kingdom's leadership, government and people lasting success and prosperity.
