Leadership congratulated by Shura Council

Manama, Dec. 14 (BNA): The Shura Council congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, His Royal Highness Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa the Prime Minister and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister on the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al Fateh, the 45th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member, and His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa's 17th Anniversary of Accession to the Throne, wishing the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people more glory, fortitude growth and prosperity. The Council reiterated its firm allegiance and loyalty to the wise leadership of our beloved kingdom. "It is a good opportunity to commemorate the national accomplishments of the Kingdom of Bahrain in all fields boosting the role of the constitutional institutions and the State of the Law, maintaining freedom of expression and opinion, activation of the role of civil society organizations, ensuring women's political rights, safeguarding human rights thanks to the wise democratic reforms of His Majesty the King with the support of loyal Bahraini citizens writing a new page in our modern history carrying the aspirations and ambitions of the Bahraini people and placing our beloved Bahrain in a distinctive prestigious positon on the map of the world's most advanced countries," according to the Council's statement. The Shura Council highly commended the huge accomplishments in the prosperous era of His Majesty the King that achieved the comprehensive national development in all walks of life, pledging to continue on the road of advancement and to live up the entrusted national responsibility to boost the blessed national process through the Shura Council's work in constructive cooperation with the Council of Representatives and the Government to achieve the aspirations of His Majesty the King on the path of reforms and progression and prosperity for the Kingdom of Bahrain and the welfare of its people.
