Leadership, people congratulated by SCYS First Deputy Chairman

Manama, Dec. 15 (BNA): First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sports (SCYS), President of Bahrain Athletics Association, HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has extended deepest congratulations to HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa on Bahrain celebrations on National Days on 16-17 December and the anniversary of the establishment of the modern state of Bahrain as an Arab and Muslim country in 1783 by its founder Ahmed Al-Fateh, the 45th Anniversary of its accession to the UN as a full member and the 17th Anniversary of HM the King’s Accession to the Throne. SCYS First Deputy Chairman highlighted the development seen by various fields that have promoted the national march of construction, progress and advancement. SCYS First Deputy Chairman also offered heartfelt congratulations to the government led by HRH Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa and HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Prime Minister. He praised the government's efforts that have interpreted the royal development visions that contributed to the homeland's prosperity. He congratulated the people of Bahrain on the same occasion. He noted the cohesion between the leadership and people, the civilizational achievements and development accomplished during the prosperous era of HM the King at various levels, pointing out the leadership support that has played a vital role in bringing honourable sport achievements, including the Olympic gold medal at the Rio 2016. He praised the Bahraini youth efforts, citing the great efforts of the Representative to HM the King for Charity Work and Youth Affairs, SCYS Chairman, President of Bahrain Olympic Committee, HH Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, in upgrading the youth and sport movement in accordance with the leadership's directives. He wished Bahrain further security, stability, progress and wellbeing.
