Loyalty, belonging to nation pillars of King's development project, says Information Minister

Manama, Mar. 19 (BNA): Information Affairs Minister, Ali bin Mohammed Al-Romaihi, has underlined the Information Ministry’s keenness to support the goals and initiatives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism (Bahrainouna), through consolidating its principles that strengthen loyalty, belonging to the nation, good citizenship and community partnership, being among the basic pillars of the comprehensive development process spearheaded by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.
Al-Romaihi expressed pride in the participation of the national media, in all its news and digital channels and platforms, in promoting the initiatives of the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism, led by Interior Minister, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, the Chairman of the committee in charge of following up on the implementation of the plan, inaugurated two years ago.
The minister stressed that the National Plan to Promote the Spirit of Belonging to the Nation and Reinforce the Values of Nationalism emanates from HM the King’s reform vision, as well as the principles enshrined in the National Action Charter and the Constitution, particularly regarding the need to preserve the national cultural and civilisational identity and foster the values of tolerance and peaceful coexistence.
In this regard, he cited the Heritage Village’s role in producing media and artistic programmes aimed at reviving the kingdom’s national heritage, the participation of national personalities in ensuring the success of the awareness-raising campaign to combat cyberbullying and rumors, in addition to the preparation of a modern law to support responsible freedoms.
The Information Affairs Minister lauded the dedicated national efforts exerted by Team Bahrain, led by His Royall Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to mitigate the effects of the novel coronavirus pandemic, setting an exemplary success story in community partnership, voluntary work and humanitarian unity in preserving the health and safety of all the citizens and residents, providing health care and free of charge vaccinations for all, and launching a pioneering financial package to reduce the economic and social impacts of the pandemic on individuals and hard-hit enterprises.
Al-Romaihi asserted that the kingdom has strengthened its capabilities in overcoming all challenges and countering foreign interference in its domestic affairs, within the framework of the Bahraini citizens’ awareness, cohesion, commitment to the loyalty and dedication to HM the King, pride in belonging to the homeland, pride in their all-inclusive GCC, Arab and Islamic identity, and their appreciation of their patriotic duties and responsibilities as partners in preserving the kingdom’s security and stability, as well as in enhancing its comprehensive and sustainable development gains.
