Majilis approved amendments to 2009 budget
Astana, October 28, 2009 (Khabar) - Government will additionally allocate 5 billion tenge to support grain export.
Such decision was taken on summit in the Government and was approved by Majilis members. The sum is already provided to the current year’s budget. Following the results of nine months the government has considered necessary to reduce a part of expenses, and to redistribute 54.3 billion. 8.7 billion will be directed to social payments, over 15 billion to the solution of problems of shareholders, building of objects of formation, public health and culture services, reconstruction of objects of a transport infrastructure in Astana and Almaty. More than 6 billion will go on creation of the service-procuring centers and building of hothouses. 7.6 billion tenge are provided for state participation in the «Shar - Ust Kamenogorsk» railroad line design. Besides, additional means will be received by the centre of cooperation of the frontier countries "Horgos" about which Kazakhstan and China have agreed during last visit of the head of our state to the People’s Republic of China. And 5 billion tenge goes on decrease of transport tariffs at grain export.

- The problem was that the grain transporting was very expensive. And our prices were non-competitive, so the prime minister has decided to cheapen tariffs. This mechanism will be developed by Industry and Trade Ministry, and transport expenses will de reduced. Our producers will be bale to go to the ports of Black and Baltic Seas.
