BANGKOK, February 27 (TNA) - Thailand's National Police Chief Police General Priewpan Damapong said Monday that Malaysia has continued to detain a suspect, Masoud Sedaghat Zadeh, for allegedly involving in a spate of three bomb blasts in Bangkok on February 14, as Thai police are questioning three newly-arrested suspects.
Police General Priewpan told journalists that Malaysia has extended the detention of the suspect pending Kuala Lumpur's careful consideration on an extradition request from Thailand.
Meanwhile, Thai immigration police are interrogating another three suspects, including Seyedmehrdad Madant who was arrested at Naza Vegas Apartment in Bangkok's Watthana district Sunday, as well as an Iranian couple who worked on Nana Road in the capital.
