Malaysian embassy organizes essay contest for Thai students

BANGKOK, May 3 (TNA) – Malaysian embassy in Bangkok organizes an essay contest for Thai students to promote the people-to-people relations between the two countries. Malaysian ambassador to Thailand, Datuk Jojie Samuel invites Thai students aged between 17-25 years old to enter the essay competition, telling why they want to take adventure in Malaysia or “NAK SUK SA PAI MALAYSIA ADVENTURE 2018”. The contest is aimed to publicize the images of Malaysia in various dimensions such as culture and tourism and this year also marks 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two neighbouring countries. The campaign is co-organized by the Malaysian embassy in cooperation with Malaysia Airlines and tourism and education organizations of both countries. Entries in Thai or English of 300 words at maximum on any interesting topic about Malaysia will be accepted through June 30. Five essays will be selected to win the prizes. Two winners will receive Bangkok- Kuala Lumpur return air tickets and two-night accommodation while three runners-up will get Bangkok – Penang return tickets.
