Malaysian PM Najib Tables 2017 Budget

KUALA LUMPUR, Oct 21 (Bernama) -- Prime Minister Najib Razak just started tabling Budget 2017 in the Dewan Rakyat (House of Representatives) with the theme "Ensuring Unity and Economic Growth, Inclusive Prudent Spending, Wellbeing of the Rakyat (People)". Najib, who is also Finance Minister, arrived at the Dewan Rakyat just before 4pm attired in a pink baju Melayu (traditional Malay outfit for men) and carrying a black briefcase bearing his much-anticipated budget speech.
