Maldivian Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment visits BIC

Manama, Oct. 8 (BNA): Minister of Youth and Sport Affairs, Ayman bin Tawfiq Al-Moayed, accompanied Maldivian Minister of Youth, Sports and Community Empowerment Ahmed Mahloof on a tour at Bahrain International Circuit (BIC), in the presence of Ministry of Youth and Sport Affairs Undersecretary Sarrah Ishaq. They were received by BIC Chairman Aref Rahimi. The Maldivian minister was informed about BIC establishment date and the local and international events it has hosted, including mainly the Formula 1 Bahrain Grand Prix. The Maldivian minister was informed about BIC facilities and the races and functions it hosts round the year. He expressed appreciation of BIC and its developed facilities, stressing its role in promoting Bahrain worldwide.
